Kia ora tātou
It is with much sadness that we learnt of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II at the end of last week. The government are considering a public holiday to pay our respects which will be announced shortly. On Monday 19th September we will be planting a memorial tree on our school field.
We are also very sad to learn of the passing this week of Walter Searancke and convey our condolences to his whanau. Walter often assisted our school with whakatau and aspects of cultural advice, for which we are very grateful. We would like to give a koha to Walter’s family and anyone wanting to add to this amount is welcome to leave their koha at our school office.
