Productions

Our school productions take place every three years and are a highlight of our school community. They provide an exciting opportunity for all students to be involved, whether on stage as performers or behind the scenes in backstage, technical, and support roles.

Over the years we have created some fantastic productions, shared plenty of laughter, enjoyed the excitement of bringing a show to life, and showcased the talents of our school community.

Our most recent productions have been Craig Hawes musicals which are a lot of fun.

Students and audiences followed the most outrageous outlaws in history on a side-splitting, action-packed adventure as Robin and the Sherwood Hoodies set out to defeat the dastardly Sheriff, storm Nottingham Castle, rescue Maid Marion, and overthrow King John — all without laddering their tights.

This hysterical production was a riotous romp through the medieval mayhem of Merry England, packed with shocks and surprises, larger-than-life characters, and comic capers. Featuring a score full of catchy, show-stopping songs and a wonderfully witty script as sharp as an arrow, this musical comedy kept audiences laughing from start to finish.

Pirates of the Curry Bean - 2019

Audiences were invited to anchors away and set sail on a swashbuckling pirate adventure in this high-energy musical that truly shook everyone’s booty. The story followed young twins Jack and Liza Periwinkle, whose dreams of adventure came true when they discovered a real-life treasure map.

When the infamous Redbeard and his pungent Pirates of the Currybean stole the map and kidnapped their mother, the race was on to rescue her, reclaim the map, and uncover the treasure. Joined by their faithful cat Fiddlesticks, the twins teamed up with a mad admiral and his eccentric crew on a voyage from the Old London Docks to the mysterious island of Lumbago in the Sea of Sciatica. With colourful characters, sparkling songs, and a witty script as sharp as a cutlass, this production was dripping with piratical style and fun.
