Kia ora tātou,

This is our last newsletter for the year, so I would like to take the opportunity to wish you all a very enjoyable, restful and safe holiday season.

I will be away from school at the start of 2026 while on sabbatical, and return at the start of Term 2. Mrs Pam Kruger will be acting principal during my absence, with Mrs Adrienne Dines and Mrs Karen Eketone job sharing in Room 2 during Term 1.

We must farewell a few of our staff next week: Mr Wayne Howes from Room 7 is retiring after 11 years of outstanding service here at Moanataiari School, Joanne North from our office is retiring after 16 dedicated years here at Moanataiari School, and Marion Vivien and Sandy Good are finishing their contracts. We will recognise their contributions at our prize-giving event.

Please note that school will finish early at 1pm next Monday 15th December. All children attending on the last day will receive a sweet treat.
