Kia ora koutou e te whānau,

We have another busy and positive week ahead at Moanataiari School, with some great opportunities for our tamariki to challenge themselves and share their learning.

On Tuesday, our Room 1 students will take part in their speech competition, with Year 5 students from Room 6 joining them. Speaking in front of others takes courage and preparation, and we are proud of our tamariki for giving it a go and building their confidence.

On Wednesday, we have our School Cross Country starting at 11.00 am. This is another chance to see Manawaroa – resilience and persistence in action. We encourage every child to do their best, support their classmates, and take pride in their effort.

Looking ahead to next week, our PTA meeting will be held on Tuesday 18 August from 4.30pm. Come and join us when you are available. It is always great to have whānau involved and contributing to our school.

A reminder too that there will be no school for students on Friday 21 August, as our staff will be taking part in a Ministry of Education Curriculum Release Day. Please make a note of this date for your whānau.

Thank you for your continued support of our tamariki and our school. We appreciate the strong partnership we have with our whānau and community.

Ngā mihi nui
