Rakau grown by Moanataiari School were outstanding, and the team that came to plant can be proud to say they came to represent the school at the Lawrence's Hikutaia planting site.
The weather was beautiful, the timings worked well, reminding us that just a small stop for refreshments can refuel tinana and hinengaro.
As focus turns to the new seedlings, for our 2026 plantings, lets pull together to replace Privet with rakau more suited to the Thames surrounds.
