Many thanks to Tracey and our library caretakers for the fun Book Day events last Friday. We hope this will inspire our students to keep reading lots of amazing stories and information all through the holidays.
We have another very busy week ahead with the Year 8 Dinner tomorrow night to farewell out Year 8 students on their way to high school, our helpers morning tea on Wednesday at 11am to thank all of our wonderful school helpers, and our Prize Giving Assembly this Friday from 12 noon.
Many thanks also to Miss Hinds-Haye’s parents for hosting our junior students at their farm today at Whenuakite. It is a great opportunity for our students to experience farm life and meet the various farm animals.
Our school is also involved in the Thames Santa Parade on Friday night from 6pm. If you are not participating, please cheer them on from the sidelines!
And...we now have a school radio station and will be on air early next year on 107.4 on the dial! We need a name for our radio station, so please send in your suggestions on the slip at the end of this newsletter by this Thursday.
And... our amazing mural is now finished. A huge THANK YOU TO Rebecca Coggins for this wonderful asset for our school. Rebecca’s design won the New Zealand Resene mural competition and all of our students have painted a fish in the mural.
