Kia ora koutou,
Welcome to Week 3 of Term 3. It has been another busy and exciting week at Moanataiari School, with our tamariki continuing to demonstrate our school values in their learning and interactions. It was wonderful to see everyone looking their best for our school photos today. These photos capture more than just smiling faces—they record the friendships, growth, and memories that make each school year so special.
Behind the scenes, our staff have been working hard to support the best possible outcomes for our students. Teachers are reviewing student progress, participating in professional learning, and preparing for our upcoming whole-school production. There is a real sense of excitement as students practise songs and begin bringing the production to life. These experiences build confidence, teamwork, and a sense of belonging for all involved.
This week we are also inviting our community to have their say through our Health Consultation. Your feedback is invaluable as we continue to shape the future direction of our school and ensure we meet the aspirations of our whānau. We encourage you to take a few moments to complete this survey, which will be carried out later this week.
Finally, a reminder that regular attendance continues to be one of the greatest contributors to student success. Every day at school provides opportunities to learn, connect, and grow. Thank you for your ongoing support in ensuring your child attends school every day they are well enough to do so. Please, however, read the article on winter bugs and illnesses.
Thank you for your continued partnership. Together, we are creating a school where every child can thrive.
Ngā mihi nui,
David Brock
Principal
