Welcome to Term 2
Welcome back to Term 2. It has been wonderful to see the school come back to life with energy and enthusiasm as students settle quickly into their learning routines.
I would like to sincerely thank our staff for the outstanding job they have done while I was away on sabbatical. The school has continued to run smoothly, with a strong focus on teaching and learning across all classes. A special thank you to Mrs Pam Kruger, who carried out my role, and to Julie White, who ably assisted, for their leadership and care during this time—it is deeply appreciated. Thank you also to Mrs Karen Eketone for teaching in Room Two.
We would also like to warmly welcome Mrs Adrienne Dines, who will be teaching in Room Three this term. We are pleased to have her join our team and know she will make a positive contribution to our school.
We are also pleased to welcome Mrs Lisa Burnett to our administration team. Mrs Burnett will be taking on a key role managing our school finances, and we are very glad to have her as part of our team.
This term is already off to a busy start, with a range of learning opportunities and events underway. On Wednesday, our junior students will be taking part in the Firewise programme, which helps them learn about fire safety in a practical and engaging way.
