Kia ora tātou,

We hope you all enjoyed the long weekend, which included King's Birthday on Monday and Kāhui Ako teacher-only day on Tuesday. Teaching staff attended sessions on Trauma-Informed Practice and Ko Matariki Ki Hauraki. Our Teacher Aides attended a Te Tiriti o Waitangi workshop, which our teachers have completed. Staff all agreed that this was very valuable Professional Development.

We held our Whakatau on Wednesday to welcome our new students and families. Rev’d Brendon blessed our Pātaka Kai, which is almost ready, and plants from Scott Rodger, which our students helped plant at Seagulls. We also welcomed Ngaire Harris, Education Review Officer.
