Midterm break

Public Notices

Good afternoon Moanataiari whānau,

We hope you are all doing okay in your bubble and the home learning is working well for you.

In light of us being in level 4, we have decided to cancel the midterm break scheduled for Thursday 26th August to Monday 30th August 2021. Monday 30th was an Accord Day for our teaching staff to attend a professional development course. This course has now been cancelled.

Cancelling the midterm break will enable us to finish school earlier by one to two days in Term 4 (we may need it by then). We will let you know the end of year date once confirmed.

To all our essential worker families, we hope this does not disrupt your working schedule, and you can manage this change. We want to thank you for all your hard work and dedication.

Thursday and Friday will now become school days. Continue with the home learning packs as best you can, Google classrooms are up and running as a means of communication, and teachers have contacted students and whānau via email. Some classes will be running zoom meetings. These meetings are mainly about connecting and catching up with the teacher and class members.

If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact Andrea Saunders or Pam Kruger.
